For two centuries since, Cook County Health has continued the mission of providing health care services to anyone who needs it – regardless of race, sex, ability to pay, insurance or immigration status.

 To aid in this mission and celebrate Stroger Hospital’s 20th anniversary, professional photography of Stroger’s doctors and other healthcare professionals were taken to reflect on the legacy of the original Cook County Hospital and the 20-year evolution of Stroger Hospital.

The photography is displayed on exterior and interior windows around Stroger Hospital.
