Kristy's adventure into media and storytelling began at graphic design school, where a single photography class sparked her passion for combining art and technology. She bought a DSLR camera and editing software, diving into the world of creating and editing images. What started as a hobby turned into a business as she began helping friends, family, and eventually a broader circle through referrals.
As more people and small businesses sought her photography and media services, Kristy expanded into videography. When COVID-19 hit in March 2020 and she lost her job, Kristy decided to turn her talents into a full-time venture. She founded Content Maven Media, LLC in Chicago.
